    3. Trilogy Investment Company, in a joint venture partnership with Cimbra Partners LLC (through its subsidiary Cimbra Investors Encanto, LLC) has broken ground on seven acres of land at the corner of Encanto Blvd. and Avondale Blvd. in Avondale. The 84-unit Build-to-Rent community will be called Encanto Villas.

    4. La Posada Communities broke ground on its La Posada at Pusch Ridge in Oro Valley after a five-year pause in development. The community was originally to be known as Nakoma Sky and was planned for 200 senior independent- and assisted-living housing units. The project has now been broken into multiple phases for efficiency, with the first phase comprising 166 units.

    5. Sterling Real Estate Partners has begun its project to turn the former Hotel Tucson City Center near downtown Tucson into a 212-unit apartment development to be known as Presidio Palms Apartments. 8. Mortenson recently tilted panels on Pursuit Park, a 640KSF, three-building industrial speculative building complex in the Elliot Road Technology Corridor in Mesa. Pursuit Park is designed to accommodate future growth, with a second phase that will include a fourth building adding up to 300KSF feet to the available space. Mortenson is both the builder and the developer. The project was designed by Ware Malcomb.

    9. The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board recently approved the preliminary plat for Gateway Technology Center, a seven-building industrial and commercial development at the NWC of Elliot and Signal Butte roads in Mesa. The project has been under construction since September.

    10. Construction is ongoing at the 40-unit Phase II of Clarendale Arcadia, a luxury independent and assisted living senior community developed under a joint partnership from Ryan Companies, Life Care Services and Harrison Street. Upon completion this spring, the development at 3233 E. Camelback Road will provide a total of 248 units. Phase I opened late last year.
