Groundbreakings
1. The Arizona Department of Transportation has started work to improve six miles of east- and westbound I-10 between Riggs Road and the Gila River bridges in both Maricopa and Pinal counties. Work includes pavement improvements in both directions of I-10 and replacing guardrails and pavement markings. Work is expected to be completed in July.
Progress Reports
2. Abrazo Health staff and officials recently celebrated progress on the Arrowhead Campus neonatal unit expansion with a beam signing ceremony. Framework for the 8.5KSF addition is now visible. The estimated $14M project is targeted for completion late this year.
3. Work is ongoing for the Immedia Southwest Experience Center development on East Hartford Drive in Scottsdale. When completed over the next few months, the 32KSF commercial vendor center will feature a 14KSF showroom, with the remaining area comprised of office space.
Completions
4. Evergreen Devco has announced the opening of Parc Tolleson, a 258-unit apartment community at McDowell Road and 89th Avenue. Expected for final delivery in September, the project was designed by BMA Architects LLC with MT Builders LLC serving as general contractor.
5. Kingman residents and officials recently celebrated the delivery of a renovation project at the Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center.
6. The Read Education Center from Hunkapi Programs, an equine therapy facility in Scottsdale, has completed its remodel and will now serve as a training, education and community event center. Funding was provided by the Read Family Foundation, and Harris Electric supplied an HVAC unit for the project.
