3. Kelly Whiteley, CEO of Hancock Builders, has been selected for AZ Big 100: 50 Arizona Business Leaders to Watch in 2026, an annual recognition highlighting leaders influencing the state’s economic direction. In her role, Whiteley is guiding the company’s expansion throughout Arizona, using her operational expertise to grow Hancock Builders’ general contracting platform.

4. Child Crisis Arizona, in partnership with Salt River Project, State Farm, the Independent Pool & Spa Service Association, Inc. and local firefighter charities, has opened applications for its Fifth Annual Pool Fence Safety Program, which provides free pool fences to income-qualified families in Maricopa County with children age six or younger. Applications are open through April 5 for owner-occupied households unable to afford pool barriers. Eligibility is verified through participation in assistance programs or household income. In addition to installing pool fences, the program offers year-round water safety education through a virtual workshop led by Safe Kids Maricopa County.
5. The Rosendin Foundation has opened applications for its 2026 grant cycle and doubled its maximum award to $100K for qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations supporting emotional, occupational and nutritional health initiatives. The Foundation plans to distribute at least $2.5M this cycle, with applications due by May 29 and awards issued in the fourth quarter. Since its formation in 2020 as the charitable arm of Rosendin Holdings, The Rosendin Foundation has distributed more than $6.7M to nearly 500 nonprofits nationwide.
6. Fulton Homes recently awarded Casteel High School’s Nathan Johnston with a $1,000 check as part of its School Salute program. This is Fulton Homes’ and KOOL-FM’s sixth year of recognizing music educators throughout the Valley.

7. James Murphy, CEO of Willmeng Construction, has been appointed to the Trustees of Arizona State University, a 37-member advisory group established in 2013 to support the University’s strategic direction. Murphy joined Willmeng in 1999, purchased the company in 2006 and currently leads the 100% employee-owned firm. The Trustees serve as advocates, advisors and investors in support of Arizona State University.

8. Arizona-based Sunstate Equipment Co., LLC has acquired JTB Rentals, expanding its presence in north-central Louisiana. The acquisition adds a branch east of Shreveport. JTB Rentals will continue operating with its existing team while gaining access to Sunstate’s broader equipment fleet and multi-state branch network.
9. Dibble has relocated its Mesa and Goodyear offices as part of its regional operations update. The Mesa team moved into a new suite in the same building at Stapley Center Mesa, while the Goodyear office relocated to GSQ in the West Valley.
Promotions

10. TynanGroup recently announced the promotion of Cameron Carey to Executive VP. Carey joined TynanGroup in September 1998 and has played a key role in shaping the firm’s growth, reputation and operational excellence. He will oversee project teams in the Tempe and Santa Barbara offices.
11. Tyler Paulsen has been promoted to Senior Team Leader at Olsson, where he will lead the firm’s Site Design efforts across Arizona and Colorado. Paulsen began his career at Olsson in 2010 as an intern and has advanced through progressively senior roles with the firm prior to his promotion.

12. Olsson announced the hiring of Brian Johnson as its new Group Leader on the Construction Materials Testing team. Johnson has experience in roadway, building and utility projects in Arizona and the greater West.
