    Giving Back

    1. LGE Design Build recently held its inaugural clay shoot charity event in support of the Arizona Anti-Trafficking Network.

    2. Kidder Mathews recently announced the results of its second annual Holiday Giving Campaign. This year, the company raised $88.3K in support of three nonprofits in the Southwest region of the United States. This includes $36.3K for Feeding America, $30K for Habitat for Humanity and $20K for Northwest Harvest.

    3. Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women has named its 2026 Board of Directors. The Board consists of:

    • Nicole Solar – President,
    • Lynette Dreitz-Fort – Past President,
    • Carol Schillne – President-Elect,
    • Nicole Cuellar – Treasurer,
    • Kristen Singletary – Secretary,
    • Hannah Bashaw – Communications Director,

    4. René Guillen has been named Executive Director of the League of Arizona Cities and Towns, succeeding Tom Belshe, who retired after 30 years. Guillen brings nearly two decades of state and local government experience and most recently served as Deputy Director of the League.

    5. Fatima Garcia has been named President of NOMA Arizona for a two-year term. Garcia will lead the chapter in advancing student pipelines into architecture, design and construction, strengthening mentorship and leadership development and advocating for socially responsible design.

    Company News

    6. Ann Atkinson has joined Meadows & Ohly as Senior VP to lead the Atlanta-based health care real estate firm’s expansion into Phoenix and the broader Southwest and West regions. Atkinson brings more than 20 years of health care real estate experience and previously led acquisitions at Healthcare Trust of America. In her new role, she will spearhead regional growth as Meadows & Ohly establishes its office near 28th Street and Camelback Road.

    7. Modern Business Development announced its expansion to Denver, Colo., as well as the hiring of its Denver Director of Business Development, Ashton Sakansky.

    8. Clayco Design & Engineering Inc. announced a strategic realignment, merging into The Lamar Johnson Collaborative, which will operate under the LJC brand to integrate architectural and engineering disciplines. As part of the restructuring, leadership appointments consist of:

    • Zac House, as Chief Executive Officer;
    • Elizabeth Zucker, as President;
    • Sarah Jacobson, as Executive Director and
    • Justin Burgoon, as Executive Director.

    9. Lennar Corp. sold its majority interest in Quarterra to TPG Real Estate. Quarterra is a multifamily developer. Jones Lang LaSalle Securities, LLC served as the exclusive financial advisor to both Quarterra and Lennar in the transaction.

    Promotions

    10. Durus Industrial recently promoted Brian Keaveney and Lacee Carnel. Keaveney will now serve as COO. He has more than 38 years of leadership and field experience. Carnel will now serve as CFO and has more than 14 years of experience in the construction industry.

    11. Dan Foley has been appointed President of Capital Pump & Equipment. Foley joined the company in 2020 as VP of Projects and has more than two decades of experience in the infrastructure and treatment plant markets. In his new role, he will focus on expanding CPE’s market presence, customer engagement and innovative bypass solutions across all service lines.

    12. Nox Group recently announced a series of promotions. This consists of:

    • Alex Troyer – Executive VP of Internal Operations,
    • Kevin Angle – Executive VP of Project Delivery,
    • Jackie Steinberger – Senior VP of Accounting,
    • JD Martin – Senior VP of Scalability and
    • Tyler Curtis – Senior VP of Field Support.

    13. RMCI, the self-performing general contractor of industrial construction company Nox Group, announced leadership advancements to support its water and wastewater infrastructure work. Rob Infantino advanced from Senior VP of Operations to COO and brings more than 25 years of experience in value engineering, cost management and project estimation, overseeing operations across markets. Brett Lytle advanced from Senior VP to President and brings nearly 20 years of experience delivering large-scale water, industrial and manufacturing projects, leading operations and execution as demand for critical infrastructure continues to grow.

    14. Duncan Wiston was promoted to General Manager at Gila River Development. Wiston initially started with GRD as its Assistant General Manager of Business Operations in July 2024.

    15. Structural design firm Meyer Borgman Johnson recently announced two Phoenix-area promotions to Associate. Mike Davieau actively works on civic and public parks projects and co-leads the company’s “On the Boards” sessions, highlighting projects in process. James Newhall leads complex healthcare projects for Banner Health and works closely with MBJ’s leadership to grow the firm’s VA healthcare portfolio.

    New Hires

    16. Dave Heiman has been hired as VP of Sales at Capital Pump & Equipment. Heiman brings more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership and business development across construction, infrastructure and utility markets.

    17. Brien Contracting announced the hiring of Stephanie Trenter as its new VP of Strategic Growth. Trenter has more than 20 years of experience in hospitality strategy, advisory services and leadership. In her new role, she will focus on growing the company, strategic partnerships, client relationships and construction projects.

    18. Rich Clapp recently joined Capitol Engineering Co. as Business Development Manager. Clapp has more than 20 years of industrial sales experience. In his new role, he will primarily focus on business development.

    Retirements/In Memoriam/Departures

    19. Terracon announced the retirement of Senior Principal Chuck Reynolds, an industry leader who spent 20 years in consulting engineering. Reynolds joined Terracon in 2006 as a Senior Project Manager, focused mainly on developing Arizona Department of Transportation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers work for the Arizona offices of Terracon.
