    Company News

    4. Zach Haptonstall, co-founder of Rise48 Equity LLC, has started a new construction firm to take on construction needs at apartments the company acquires.

    5. Scottsdale-based Walton Global Holdings LLC has partnered with Rockpoint to expand Build-to-Rent development opportunities on a national scale. Rockpoint will invest up to $300M in Walton’s projects.

    6. RestorationHQ announced it will open an office and warehouse facility at 944 W. Grant Road in Tucson to create better custom services for commercial construction clients. The office is scheduled to open July 5th.

    Promotions

    7. Phoenix Design One has promoted Sophia Humphrey to Principal. In addition to joining the executive leadership team, Humphrey will continue to manage the PDO studio and oversee more than 40 buildings.

    8. Harvard Investments recently announced six promotions. The staff members and their new positions are:

    • Tim Brislin, Senior VP,
    • Christian Passalacqua, Entitlement & Development Manager,
    • Bryon Jones, Division Controller for Harvard Communities,

    9. Norris Design announced the promotions of Erica Mackenzie to Senior Associate and Mandy Woods to Associate in their Phoenix office.

    10. Pulice Construction has promoted Lorna McGhee to Deputy Director, Project Development and Tyler Reynvaan to Area Manager, Civil Work.

    New Hires

    11. Nik Vallens has been named Senior Manager of U.S. Industrial for Hopewell Development.

    12. Don Williamson has joined W.E. O’Neil as Senior Project Superintendent.

    13. Sundt Construction has hired William Trujillo as its new Director of Human Resources.

    14. Cayley McLean has been hired as Harvard Investments’ Financial Analyst/Land Acquisition Manager to provide high-level financial analysis for Harvard Communities.

    Retirement

    15. Wrapping up a 37-year career – 15 years of which were spent at DCS Contracting – Senior Project Administrator Bev Coffman has announced her retirement.
