    Groundbreakings

    1. Greystar has broken ground on the three-building, 2MSF industrial project Gateway Grand – formerly known as Unbound Gateway – at the NEC of Pecos and Sossaman roads in Mesa.

    2. Partnering as Miramar Capital, Contour Real Estate and Miramar Industrial Partners have broken ground on Southern Industrial Center – formerly known as Enscape – a 1.2MSF warehouse and logistics development at the SEC of Southern Avenue and Apache Road in Buckeye.

    3. Officials from Pinal County Public Works and other stakeholders broke ground recently on the $17.9M Inland Port Arizona Improvements project that will improve Hanna and Houser roads between Vail Road and SR 87 for better access to Inland Port Arizona. The project will specifically improve accessibility for the Nikola Motors Plant.

    Progress Reports

    4. The $33M-plus project to improve Deer Valley Road from El Mirage Road to 109th Avenue is entering its final phase, which will raise the wall heights of homes from 109th to 105th avenues that back to Deer Valley Road. When completed, officials estimate Deer Valley’s traffic volumes will increase from its current 1,000 vehicles per day up to 20,000.

    5. Work is progressing on improvements to CSM Martin R. ”Gunny” Barreras Memorial Park in Tucson. The nearly $5M project includes renovating restrooms and track surfaces, and a new playground, ramada, fitness court and splash pad.
