    Groundbreakings

    1. Sundt Construction has broken ground on a 65KSF manufacturing facility on a 36-acre site near the SWC of Tomahawk Road and U.S. 60 in Apache Junction. The project will support off-site fabrication operations and includes approximately 10KSF of office space. Completion is anticipated in Q1 2027, and the remaining acreage is reserved for future expansion.

    2. St. Vincent de Paul has broken ground on the 26.2KSF Center for Purpose, Hope, and Mission on its main campus just south of downtown Phoenix. The project involves the repurposing of an existing warehouse into a community and volunteer center and is expected to be completed in 2027. Ryan Companies US Inc. is serving as the general contractor, and SmithGroup is the project architect. Progressive Roofing is donating the roof.

    Progress Reports

    3. The Agua Fria High School District, with McCarthy Building Companies and ADM Group, celebrated the topping out of Hilltop School for the Arts and Theater. The milestone was marked with a beam signing ceremony followed by the placement of the final structural beam on the 115.1KSF, commemorating the project’s progress. The project, located in Litchfield Park at Litchfield and Camelback roads, includes the building of a 34KSF performing arts center as well as a two-story back-of-house area. Additionally, the project includes the construction of two single-level high-tech classroom buildings, a two-story building with a black box, media center, cafeteria, administrative offices and additional classrooms.
