1. Salt River Projectย andย sPowerย announced construction is underway onย East Line Solar,ย a new solar power plant that will bring $10Mย in 25 years of tax revenue and up to 350 construction jobs to Pinal County.ย
2. Theย Town of Paysonย plans for itsย splash padย took a step forward with the demolition of an old building inย Green Valley Parkย near the Rim Country Museum on Septemberย 15th.ย The town hopes to have the splash pad by next summer.ย
3. Turning Leaf of the Nazarene Churchย broke ground on September 27th, on Litchfield Road just south of Bethany Home Road.ย
4. On Septemberย 15th,ย Trinity Christian Schoolย celebrated a groundbreaking ceremonyย for their new campusย at 1212 Warrior Way.ย

5. ScanlanKemperBardย (SKB) and capital partnerย Black Salmonย have kicked off the final phase of renovations atย 101 North,ย a 373KSFย high-riseย located at 101 N. First Avenue, Phoenix.ย Designed byย Nelsen Partnersย and directed byย Stevens-Leinweberย Constructionย (SLC), ground-floor renovations at 101 North will include new entrances, a new main lobby and upgraded common areas connecting to the buildingโs on-site restaurant amenities.ย Phased completion is anticipated between late 2020 and early 2021.ย
6. PV 303ย industrial park developersย Merit Partnersย andย First Industrial Realty Trustย have selectedย Stevens-Leinweberย Constructionย (SLC) to complete the 643.8KSFย tenant improvement forย MLILY.ย SLC initiated build-out work on the MLILY building this month, after completing the industrial shell building and anticipates a December 2020 completion.ย Butler Design Groupย is the buildingโs architect.ย ย
7. Theย Prescott Valley Performing Arts & Childrenโs Theatre, which will be namedย Main Street Theatre, is scheduled to be completed by December 25th, 2020.ย As of right now,ย itโsย approximately 6KSFย with a 150-seat capacity, and the seating will be staggered in order to give all audience members a clear view of the stage.ย
8. Luna Azul, a for sale residential community for adults with special needs in North Phoenix, has completed construction of 17 of its residencies, with the rest of its community scheduled for completion in 2021. It has sold out more than half of its residencies during the phase one sale.ย

Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town, a 177-room hotel at the NEC of First Street and Marshall Way, opened its doors on October 1st, ushering inย a vibrant Southwest energy infused with Mid-Century Modern sophistication to the neighborhood along with a new signature restaurant and expansive rooftop bar and lounge.ย
11. Construction on the fifth phase ofย Rio 2100ย โ a class A office complex in a mixed-used development south ofย Tempe Town Lakeย โ is now complete.ย The 170.7KSFย office building totals four stories and includes a two-story parking facility.ย
12. McCarthy Building Companiesย recently completed construction onย the $23M,93KSFย K-6ย Robert J C Rice Elementary School, theย Chandler Unified School Districtโs 32nd elementary school, located in southwest Gilbert near the Chandler border.ย HDA Architects Inc. served as the architect on the project and major subcontractors includedย Sun Valley Masonry,ย Proconย Concrete,ย R&N Electric,ย Irontreeย andย Midstate Mechanical.ย
