    Progress Reports
    1. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, George Oliver is making thoughtful changes to build tenant confidence and position its latest redevelopment project, The Alexander, now under construction in downtown Chandler, as a premier “new normal” work environment. New COVID-19-related design enhancements include “touchless” accessibility throughout, featuring 10-foot sliding glass entry doors, motion sensor restroom doors and fixtures, and touchless drinking fountains. All strategic upgrades will be completed within the original development timeline, keeping the project on-track for delivery to the market by the fourth quarter of this year.
    Completions
    2. The design-build team of WSM Architects, The Weitz Company and Gannett Fleming recently completed construction on the $12M Public Works Facility for the City of Surprise. This new building, located at 11875 N. Litchfield Road, consolidates the City’s Public Works Operations (Fleet Maintenance, Streets, Signals, and Solid Waste) into one facility.
    3. Wentworth Property Co., LLC recently completed construction on the 16.1KSF, $2M Mountain View Storage facility, a ground-up construction of a single-story self-storage facility with exterior and interior accessed climate controlled storage units at 1208 E. Mountain View Road, Phoenix. The architect was Robert Brown Architects and A.R. Mays Construction was the general contractor.
    4. Studio Ma has completed the design for a super-energy-efficient law firm office for The Phoenix Law Group. The conversion of the single-story structure into a modern, wood-clad building with an inviting, double-height workplace of sun-dappled interiors and exposed wood finishes, was commissioned by Samantha Brown, one of the leaders of the firm.
    5. Ware Malcomb announced construction is complete on the new 17KSF offices of the Professional Beauty Association at 7755 E. Gray Road, Scottsdale. Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and design services for the project.
    6. Residents of the Orchid Street Apartments in Somerton have new roofs over their head, thanks to a nearly $400K remodeling project. Roofs were replaced on four buildings in the subsidized apartment complex managed by Housing America Corp. Other renovations included replacement of kitchen cabinets and fans, bathroom remodeling, replacement of main access doors, electrical rewiring and painting.
