Giving Back

1. Salt River Project crews connected 13 families to electricity in the western Navajo Nation this spring through the Light Up Navajo VII initiative. To electrify the 13 homes, SRP crews worked a combined 3,753 hours over two weeks, installing 108 primary poles, 25 secondary poles and 10 transformers, and stringing 91,866 feet of wire.

2. Okland Construction announced the company has transitioned to partial employee ownership through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, βexpanding ownership to include the people who help make this company what it is.β
3. Chapman Lindsey Commercial Real Estate Services LLC has merged with Chapman Management Group LLC. The Tucson-based commercial brokerage firm was originally established more than 35 years ago by Swain Chapman, Paul Lindsey, Ben Becker, James Marian and Daniel Feig. The combined firm will continue operating as Chapman Management Group, with Erik Chapman remaining President. The expanded company will provide brokerage, property management and advisory services throughout Southern Arizona.
4. P.B. Bell recently launched a $125M multifamily acquisition fund targeting Class A and B multifamily properties throughout Arizona. This comes as the company is celebrating its 50th year of multifamily construction in the Grand Canyon State. Keagen Huerta will serve as the Executive VP of Investments for the fund.
Promotions
5. Braden Blake has been promoted to Principal at Ware Malcombβs Phoenix office. Blake previously served as Director of Architecture and joined the firm as an intern in 2014 before returning in 2018 as a Project Manager. Blake has experience in corporate office, industrial, restaurant, retail, mixed-use and manufacturing projects. In his new role, he will lead the Phoenix office and continue expanding the firmβs work in the high-tech industry. Blake is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and serves on the Board of Directors for AIA Arizona.
6. Aaron Forbes was recently promoted to Partner at DLR Group. Forbes oversees culture and performing arts-centered developments throughout the Southwest.
7. Mario Paniagua has been promoted from Assistant Town Manager to Town Manager of the Town of Gilbert. The decision was made during the May 13 Town Council meeting. He officially steps into the role on June 1.
8. Gulfeagle Supply announcedScott Littlefield rejoined TAMKO Building Products as Regional Manager of the West. Littlefield spent the past five years as Director of Residential Sales at Gulfeagle Supply, where he led residential sales initiatives across Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma. Prior to joining Gulfeagle Supply, he spent 19 years with TAMKO.
New Hires

9. Hazen and Sawyer announced the hiring of two new employees. Erin Daughterty was hired as an Associate. She has more than 15 years of experience in design and project management. Hazen and Sawyer also hired Farah Alkerwy as Principal Scientist. Alkerwy has worked on several large-scale water infrastructure projects.
10. The HCR Group appointed Marlo Wilkey as VP of Human Resources. Wilkey brings more than 15 years of experience leading HR strategy, talent development and organizational effectiveness in private equity-backed and high-growth environments. Most recently, he served in senior HR leadership roles at Vantor, where he worked with executive teams to align talent strategy with business objectives and support enterprise growth.
