    Groundbreakings

    2. Greenlight Communities has broken ground on Cabana Mesa Drive, a six-acre, 180-unit attainable rental community near Mesa and University drives in Mesa. The project, developed in partnership with PGIM Real Estate, held its formal groundbreaking on Nov. 6. Construction is expected to be completed in early 2027.

    Progress Reports

    4. SSS Partners LLC has secured financing to complete the Fire N Ice Arena & Hotel in north Phoenix, allowing construction on the long-delayed project at 2727 W. Bronco Butte Trail to resume. The development includes an ice and multi-sport complex, a hotel and a private high school for student-athletes. Construction was halted for several years following pandemic-related shutdowns but is now underway again, with completion targeted for August 2026.

    5. Greystar has begun pre-leasing Album Surprise, a 4.1-acre, 161-unit 55+ active adult apartment community at 16431 N. Parkview Pl. in downtown Surprise. The development features one- and two-bedroom residences. Move-ins are expected to begin in early 2026.
