Giving Back
1. Dominium has announced the recipients of the 2024 Opportunity’s Front Door Scholarship Program. The program is committed to providing essential financial support to Dominium residents, employees and dependents to facilitate access to higher education. In the 2024-2025 academic year, 335 students received scholarships of $5K each, totaling more than $1.6M. Among the recipients is four-time winner Carlos, from Tolleson. Carlos is pursuing a degree in Fashion, with an emphasis on Design at Arizona State University.
2. The Sundt Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary and the culmination of three weeks of fundraising for breast cancer awareness with a $319.5K check, pink hair dye and permanent tattoos at Sundt’s Tempe headquarters. Half of the money was donated by Sundt employee-owners, which was then matched dollar-for-dollar by Sundt Construction. The funds will be evenly divided among Sundt’s 12 giving communities and directed toward local nonprofits supporting individuals fighting breast cancer. To date, the Sundt Foundation has awarded more than $16M in donations.

3. Southwest Experience Center has rebranded to NextSpace. The change refines the facility’s focus on serving the companies expanding or relocating in Phoenix, and the need those organizations have to create transformative work environments. Just north of Bell Road and east of Loop 101 in Scottsdale, NextSpace offers 32.7KSF and more than $9M in products representing more than 50 workplace vendors.
4. Southwest Design Building has merged with Sigma Contracting, Inc. forming a new entity known as Sigma Southwest. Seth Simmons, founder of Southwest Building Design, recently celebrated 10 years of doing projects across the southwest. The merger with Sigma marks the next step of business evolution after Simmons started Southwest Facility Maintenance, a sister company to Southwest Design Building.
5. Kidder Mathews has promoted Eric Paulsen to President of Brokerage, where he will lead more than 500 brokers across the firm’s 19 locations in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona. Paulsen is a 35-year industry veteran who joined the company in 2021 as regional president of brokerage in Southern California and Arizona.
6. Sundt Construction, Inc. has promoted Paul Levin to Senior VP of Health, Safety & Environment. Levin, a 36-year construction industry veteran, has spent 29 years with Sundt, where he has advanced the company’s safety program while advocating for a new approach to safety throughout the construction industry.
7. EPS Group, Inc. promoted Daniel “Ox” Auxier to Land Development Department Manager. Auxier has served as a board member and principal of the company and has spent his last 12 years with EPS Group. He also served eight years as a Combat Engineer with the United States Marine Corps.

8. Riggs Companies has recently hired Colin Lynch as Project Manager. Lynch has nearly 20 years of experience in construction, primarily as a project manager and estimator. Riggs has also announced the hiring of Shaun Harrison as Superintendent. Harrison possesses a varied professional background, having successfully managed a wide range of high-profile construction projects throughout his career.
9. Arcoro has appointed Kristen Wright as Chief Marketing Officer. In her new position, Wright will oversee all marketing efforts at the company.
10. Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR has announced the hiring of Bobby Verenna to its commercial real estate team. Verenna will specialize in the office property sector. Verenna brings 18 years of experience as a residential Realtor and two years as regional CEO for Keller Williams.
11. Burch & Cracchiolo recently hired Jackson D. Hendrix as an Associate. Hendrix has been practicing law since 2021 and focuses on civil and commercial litigation, real estate and business law.
