    Giving Back

    1. P.B. Bell employees gathered at Feed My Starving Children and packed 21,168 meals for hungry children around the world. P.B. Bell employees and communities also collected toys and household items for the Arizona Multihousing Charitable Foundation’s Hope for the Holidays drive throughout the month of August. All items collected will benefit the children and families of UMOM New Day Centers experiencing homelessness.

    Awards & Accolades

    2. Beth Jo Zeitzer, President and Designated Broker of R.O.I. Properties is the winner of AZCREW’s Woman Icon Award. The award was presented at the 2024 Woman Icon event on Sept. 18.

    3. American Subcontractors Association of Arizona Executive Director Josh Umar has been named 2024 Leader of the Year by Arizona Capitol Times.

    Company News

    4. Earthworks Environmental and CEO Cherie Koester are celebrating the environmental consulting firm’s 10th year in operation. During that time, the company launched its proprietary ERX management software system and grew to include more than 80 employees across multiple divisions in the southern U.S.

    5. Real estate investment firm Lukrom announced the opening of its headquarters at 44th Street and Camelback Road in Phoenix.

    Promotions

    6. Kitchell recently announced the appointment of Geoff Bachanas as the new President of Kitchell CEM, one of the four operating companies within the corporation. Bachanas, who began his journey with Kitchell as an intern in 2001, brings more than 20 years of leadership in capital improvement planning and execution.

    7. The Florence Town Council has voted for Bruce Walls to become the new Town Manager. Previously, Walls served as the Town’s police chief.

    8. Greystar has promoted Wil Hoque to Director – Industrial Development. Since joining the company in 2021, Hoque has facilitated $148M in debt and equity raises, transacted more than 180 acres of raw land and completed due diligence for more than 85 potential projects.

    New Hires

    9. P.B. Bell has hired Jen Santiago as VP, Property Services. Santiago has more than 20 years of multifamily management experience.

    10. Graycor Construction Company hired Randy Moon as a Project Executive. Moon will help the company pursue new high-growth markets, with a focus on the warehouse and distribution sector.

    11. Colliers Engineering & Design recently hired Kira Eliason as Civil Designer, Sam Nieslanik as Project Engineer and Hayden Green as Project Engineer.
