Giving Back
1. On Friday, October 18, the nonprofit Passion to PowHer will host its first Passion to PowHer Day, which will be held at the Peoria Sports Complex from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is a free all-day event that will provide young women, ages 13-22, the tools to unlock their full potential and inspire them to fulfill their dreams. Passion to PowHer was founded by Shelby Duplessis, founder and managing partner of Diversified Future, as a nonprofit foundation with a mission to support and empower young women.

2. Titan CEO and Wipfli LLP have announced Mike Godbehere, CEO and Co-founder of GCON Inc., as a Phoenix Titan 2024. Godbehere was honored at the Titan 100 Awards on Sept. 5 at the Chateau Luxe.

3. Synergos Companies has acquired ODC Construction, a Florida-based construction company. ODC Construction focuses on foundations, masonry and lumber framing. Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC acted as the financial advisor to Synergos, while Whelan Advisory acted as the financial advisor to ODC Construction.
4. Larsen Baker LLC announced the real estate developer has acquired Romano Real Estate, a commercial property management firm. The two companies will combine their operations for leasing and management. Upon completing the integration, the combined firm will be the largest in the southern portion of Arizona.
5. Medical Office Brokers announced its expansion with the addition of medical brokerage professionals Marina Hammersmith, Tyrel Williams, Reece Ellertson and Ethan Diedrichsen, collectively M|T Healthcare Partners.

6. Speedie & Associates, LLC – A UES Company has named Donald L. Cornelison as President. Cornelison has been with the company since 2001 and has been involved with several Arizona projects, such as new highways and the Phoenix Light Rail.
7. Alcorn Construction has promoted Derek Simpson to President. Simpson will oversee leadership in the company’s Phoenix and Denver offices.

8. Rockefeller Group has named Brandon Dillingham to oversee its Arizona development efforts as Managing Director. Dillingham’s focus will include directing the firm’s Build-to-Rent development pipeline and identifying new opportunities in multiple sectors.
9. Achen-Gardner Construction has hired Tanmay Musale as a Project Engineer and Carmen Heers as an Accounting Supervisor.
10. Davis Commercial AZ has hired Lance McFarland as a Licensed Commercial Agent.
