    In our Oct. 18 issue, we ran a listing of all 24 bond, maintenance override and district additional assistance overrides for school districts in Maricopa County. Rather than reinvent the wheel, we are repeating that list and updating it with the latest results – as of 6 a.m. Nov. 17 – from this month’s general election. (AZBEX; Oct. 18)

    Agua Fria Union High School District

    • $209M bond for multiple uses, including construction of a new high school: Too close to call. Appears to be failing.
    • 15% override renewal: Approved.

    Buckeye Union High School District

    • 10% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Cartwright Elementary School District

    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Cave Creek Unified School District

    • 15% M&O override renewal: Denied.

    Creighton Elementary School District

    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Fountain Hills Unified School District

    • $20M bond for multiple uses, including site and athletic facility improvements: Denied.
    • District additional assistance override of not more than $750K: Denied.

    Fowler Elementary School District

    • $30M bond for capital improvement projects and purchases: Approved.

    Glendale Union High School District

    • 10% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Higley Unified School District 

    • $77.2M bond for multiple projects, including building construction and renovations: Denied.

    Liberty Elementary School District 

    • 10% M&O override renewal: Too close to call. Likely to pass.

    Litchfield Elementary School District 

    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Madison Elementary School District

    • District additional assistance override of not more than $4.6M: Approved.

    Murphy Elementary School District

    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Nadaburg Unified School District

    • $20M bond for multiple system improvements, building renovations, athletic field construction and other projects and improvements: Denied.
    • Request for approval to join the Western Maricopa Education Center career technical educational district, resulting in an additional tax to property owners in the district for Maintenance and Operations and for debt service: Approved.

    Osborn Elementary School District

    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Paradise Valley Unified School District

    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Phoenix Elementary School District

    • $97M bond for new school construction, facilities renovations and improvements: Approved.
    • Request to sell, exchange or lease District-owned property: Approved.

    Queen Creek Unified School District

    • $198M bond for new school construction, additional space development, additions and improvements to infrastructure and other projects: Denied.

    Scottsdale Unified School District 

    • District additional assistance override of not more than $14.5M: Approved.

    Tempe Elementary School District

    • $196.5M bond for renovations, critical maintenance and district support facility maintenance: Approved.

    Tempe Union High School District

    • $100M bond for building additions, building and grounds renovation, major infrastructure and facilities operations systems: Approved.
    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.
    • District additional assistance override of not more than $8.7M: Approved.

    Union Elementary School District

    • $25M bond for new construction, facilities capital improvements and other projects: Too close to call. Likely to pass.
    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Washington Elementary School District 

    • $135M bond for new construction, building system upgrades and replacements, pavement improvements and other projects: Approved.
    • 15% M&O override renewal: Approved.

    Wickenburg Unified School District 

    • 10% M&O override: Approved
