LKY Development Company, Inc. is planning to rezone 5,157 acres in unincorporated Maricopa County to industrial for Belmont 4.
LKY Development is the master developer. Colliers Engineering & Design is the master land planner. Gammage & Burnham is providing legal representation.
The development will consist of a variety of different industrial projects ranging from logistics and manufacturing to data centers. According to the project narrative, “This unique Property along the proposed I-11 and near the intersection of I-10 is envisioned to provide a dynamic mix of employment uses that will spur commerce and economic growth. Employment uses such as warehousing, manufacturing, data centers, and energy production are all considered for this Property.”
The more than 5,000 acres are located between Indian School Road and 347th and 371st avenues north of Interstate 10.
Maricopa County moved to remove the land from the Belmont master plan in 2024. The master plan spans roughly 20,000 acres and primarily contains residential development.
The Maricopa County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning during its Sept. 24 meeting. The proposal will next appear before the Board of Supervisors for final consideration.
Specific development plans have yet to be filed at this time.
