    1. The PICOR Charitable Foundation announced the beneficiaries of its 30th annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. This year’s fundraiser, held on Oct. 27, raised a total of $188K. The Burton Family Foundation, part of PCF’s Pancake Breakfast Committee, has a dollar-for-dollar matching program. The committee released the 59 local nonprofits benefitting from the fundraiser.     The foundation also released its 2024 Ken Nickel Stem Grant. The two recipients of the grant were Cradle to Career Anchored at United Way and SciTech Institute.

    2. DCS Contracting organized an employee-wide toy and clothing drive for the Dysart Community Center in El Mirage. Donations were given out to more than 90 children and their families at the Center’s annual holiday party on Dec. 13.

    3. Brycon raised $11K for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. Employees and subcontractors donated to the cause. Brycon was able to support 15 families including 44 children.

    Awards & Accolades

    4. The Muller Company announced Genna Goldberg was named CPM of the Year by IREM Greater Phoenix for her legislative work in Washington, D.C. Golberg has been working with The Muller Company since 2009. She directs day-to-day operations, including overseeing property renovations, leasing activity, legal, support staff, maintenance and vendors.

    5. Brycon has been named a recipient of the Chandler 100 award by the Chandler Chamber of Commerce. The award credits the top 100 companies in Chandler.

    Company News

    6. VBFA has merged with BNA Consulting. Both firms have been in business for 52 years and have worked together on numerous projects since their beginning. More news about a celebration, new name and new brand will be released in 2025.

    7. Clear Title Agency of Arizona has been named in the 2024 Best Places to Work List by the Phoenix Business Journal. The company has also been named a Top Company to Work for in Arizona for twelve consecutive years by Best Companies Group, Bridgetower Media, Arizona Capitol Times and BestCompaniesAZ.

    Promotions

    8. James Waldrep was recently promoted to the position of VP, Controller for Moderne Communities. Waldrep was hired by the Scottsdale-based real estate investment and development firm in 2021 to fill the position of Assistant Controller. In 2023, he was promoted to Controller. As VP, Controller, Waldrep will continue to oversee the financial operations for the company and will become more involved in strategic planning.

    9. Dibble announced the promotion of Keith Faucett to Utilities Principal Engineer. Faucett has had an 18-year career in civil engineering. In his new role, Faucett will serve as the principal engineer, overseeing and providing design oversight of Dibble’s water, wastewater and infrastructure projects.

    New Hires

    10. NAI Horizon announced the hiring of Anna Sepic as Senior VP. Sepic will specialize in investment sales for multifamily and land. She represents clients in land deals throughout metro Phoenix as well as property in metro Tucson, Yuma and Flagstaff.

    11. Rider Levett Bucknall Ltd. announced the hiring of Callum Benson as Head of Data Centers. Benson has more than 15 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying and project management in the commercial construction industry.

    12. CBRE announced Briclyn Chase joined its Tucson office as an associate. Chase specializes in leasing and sales and will represent owners, occupiers and landlords. Chase has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate and property management.
