    Awards & Accolades

    1. Information Management Network announced its 2024 Single-Family Rental Award winners. Lifestyle Homes was named the Architect, Engineer & Construction ServiceCompany of the Year. Lifestyle Homes provides general contracting services with a specialization in Build-to-Rent communities.

    2. Camelot Homes was named 2024 Builder of the Year by Pro Builder Media. Pro Builder Media visited the company’s headquarters this past summer to learn more about its operations. Pro Builder Media recognizes one home builder every year.

    Boards & Commissions

    3. NAI Horizon announced Joan Krueger has been appointed to the SRP Customer Utility Panel. Krueger was appointed at the SRP Board’s Dec. 2 meeting and will commence her role in January of 2025. Krueger currently serves as the First VP of the firm’s office team. She focuses on office, retail, light industrial and land asset classes.

    Company News

    4. Sun Corridor Inc. and the Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce Boards of Directors announced they have agreed to merge the two organizations in 2025 to form a new, stronger chamber that represents business interests in Tucson and southern Arizona. The organization’s new mission is to drive economic growth and prosperity through job creation by uniting business advocacy and development efforts, fostering an environment where businesses thrive, and promoting Tucson and southern Arizona as a vibrant economic hub on both domestic and international stages.

    5. Nations Group announced Club Residences, a program to develop condominiums located next to college football stadiums. Currently, the company is targeting rural college towns. Ross Robb and Tom Troeger are leading Nations Group’s charge into condominiums. No official deals have been made, but Nations Group hopes to begin working on projects for two-to-five universities in Q1 2025.

    Promotions

    6. Ted Geisler will assume the roles of Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Pinnacle West Capital Corp. and Arizona Public Service effective April 1, 2025, following the retirement of current Chairman and CEO Jeff Guldner.

    7. Caliente Construction Inc. has promoted Micheal L. Hansberger Jr. to CFO. Hansberger has been with Caliente for five years and served as Financial System Manager. He now succeeds Lisa Autino, Caliente’s CFO for the past 10 years. Autino will assume the title of CFO Emeritus and serve on the Caliente Governing Board.

    New Hires

    8. Rider Levett Bucknall Ltd. announced the appointment of Terence Tracey as its new Head of Growth & Strategy. He has more than 17 years of experience in project management. Tracey has a record of driving growth and market expansion across diverse sectors, including data centers, commercial real estate and healthcare.

    9. CEC Phoenix has hired Gary Karaboulad and Aaron Goslee. Karaboulad will be serving as a Principal in CEC’s Civil Engineering practice. He has more than 41 years of experience as a transportation and structural engineer. Goslee will be serving as a Principal in CEC’s Civil Engineering practice and as the Transportation Lead for the company’s Arizona operations. He has more than 24 years of experience in transportation project design.

    10. Venn Construction recently announced two new hires. Justin May joined the team as Controller. May brings extensive experience in accounting/finance management and in construction. The group also hired Gus Burch as Creative Media Specialist for the Venn Marketing team. Burch has previously done work for Arizona Lottery, the Phoenix Fire Department and other companies and organizations.

    11. Brinkmann Constructors hired Gage Calhoun as a Preconstruction Manager. Calhoun has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a history in large-scale projects across various market sectors. In his new role, he will assist in the bidding/estimating of construction projects in Phoenix.

    12. DLR Group hired Karen Cooper as a Senior Associate and Client Leader. In her new role, she will lead the firm’s mission critical, data centers, industrial and manufacturing clients. She will also help clients maximize operational efficiency and minimize risks.

    13. Mancini Duffy hired Taylor Purser as a Project Architect. Purser has design experience in healthcare, hospitality and commercial design. He has previously worked on the Pardee Cancer Center and Presbyterian Main Hospital Tower.
