    Awards & Accolades

    1. National Technical Institute recognized 103 graduates who earned HVAC, plumbing and electrical certificates during a graduation ceremony at its Phoenix campus on July 10. The class included 37 HVAC students, 26 plumbing students and 37 electrical students who completed 12-to-16-week training programs. More than 20 graduates had secured jobs by graduation.

    Boards & Commissions

    2. The Arizona Commerce Authority is relocating its headquarters to the Bank of America tower at 201 E. Washington St. in downtown Phoenix. The agency will occupy more than 40KSF across the building’s 17th and 18th floors, approximately 5KSF more than its previous headquarters at 100 N. Seventh Ave. The new space will include a conference center, training areas and collaboration space, with statewide operations based on the 18th floor. The move is expected to be completed by Aug. 3.

    Company News

    3. Centuri Holdings Inc. has acquired J.J. White, a mechanical, electrical and HVAC services provider. J.J. White will become part of Centuri’s Riggs Distler operations, expanding the company’s electric capabilities across the Northeast and Midwest. Approximately 1,000 employees will join Centuri, bringing its workforce to more than 10,000.

    Promotions

    4. Buehler Engineering announced Jeff Hollowell has been promoted to Principal. Hollowell has more than 20 years of experience as a structural engineer and is a member of the Board of the Structural Engineers Association of Arizona.

    5. Arrowmark recently announced Carlos Mejia has been promoted to Director of Employee Care. Also at Arrowmark, Abigail Goode is transitioning from Project Management to Business Development.

    6. Hunter Venne, Gus Terry, and Susanna Mabery have been promoted to Project Manager in Dibble’s Transportation Business Unit. Venne has more than 11 years of transportation and traffic engineering experience. Terry has more than eight years of experience in roadway and drainage design. Mabery, who has been with Dibble for nearly a decade, most recently served as Deputy Project Manager for the firm’s work with the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority.

    7. Ashlee Mondotte has been promoted to Marketing Assistant at Cannon & Wendt Electric Company Inc. Mondotte previously served as a Human Resources Assistant with the company after joining its corporate team in 2025.

    New Hires

    8. Troy Giammarco has joined Citywide Commercial Real Estate as Executive VP. He previously spent more than a decade with NAI Horizon and has also held brokerage positions with Colliers, CBRE/Insignia ESG and Newmark Knight Frank. Giammarco brings more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience and has completed transactions totaling more than 15MSF across more than 40 cities in 20-plus states.

    9. Anastacia Ruiz-Europa has been appointed as Community Development Director of the Phoenix Industrial Development Authority. Ruiz-Europa has more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit, finance and organizational roles.

    10. Hunter Contracting Company announced the addition of Shane Banks as Director of Water and Wastewater. With more than 30 years of experience in civil construction and water infrastructure, Banks will lead the continued growth of Hunter’s Water and Wastewater Group throughout Arizona.

    11. Arrowmark recently announced the hiring of David Cline as an Estimator.
