    Giving Back

    1. In July, EHS Restoration will assist Aris Foundation in hosting a dinner for more than 250 homeless families in Tempe. Additionally, through the organization Packages From Home, EHS Restoration employees will also be packing care baskets/packages for those who are actively deployed in the U.S. military overseas.

    Awards & Accolades

    2. The Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA announced the winners of the 2024 Phoenix Rising Excellence Awards. The winners are:

    • Rising Star of the Year: Sri Nayani Gajji;
    • Emerging Leader of the Year: Mridula Potdar;
    • Helping Hand of the Year: Liz Remley;
    • Committee Member of the Year: Lorene Gilbert;
    • Committee of the Year: Arizona Facilities Government Alliance;
    • Associate Company of the Year: America Roofing;
    • Professional Company of the Year: APS;
    • Associate Member of the Year: Tiffany Pennington;
    • Professional Member of the Year: Jared Spangler; and,
    • Presidentโ€™s Choice for Special Recognition: Gary Lovgren, Hutton Wachlter, Dave Little and Bryce Reynolds.

    3. The Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA announced its new Board Members for 2024-2025. The members are:

    • Monisa Nagarajan Gomathi, President;
    • Marshall MacFarlane, Immediate Past President;
    • David Ramiez, VP of Professional Development;
    • Stephanie Jones, VP of Communication and Community, and
    • Bobbi Jo Huskey, Treasurer/Secretary.

    4. The Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority Board of Directors recently appointed its new officers for its latest term. Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley will serve as Chair; Gila River Indian Community Lt. Gov. Regina Antone has been named Vice-Chair; Mesa Mayor John Giles is Secretary, and Gilbert Mayor Brigette Peterson is Treasurer.

    5. Wilson Engineers announced it has acquired Nevada-based RO Anderson Engineering, in part because of the companyโ€™s strong presence in both the public and private sectors.

    6. Winsupply Inc. has acquired General Metals Manufacturing & Supply Company and the firmโ€™s 15KSF Tucson location at 1250 S. Euclid Ave. for $1.65M.

    Promotions

    7. The Greater Phoenix Economic Council has promoted Maureen Howell as Chief Operating Officer. Her previous positions at GPEC included Chief of Staff, VP of Operations and VP of Research and Analytics.

    8. Gensler has promoted Dawn Hart and Jeffrey Maas to Studio Directors. Hart was previously Principal and Maas was Senior Associate.

    9. Haydon has promoted Skyler Roussel to Director of Business Development. Roussel has been a member of Haydon since 2018 where he served as Project Director.

    New Hires

    10. DLR Group hired Mark Tiscornia as Global Healthcare Leader/Principal.

    11. Dibble announced the hiring of 27-year industry veteran Craig Cannizzaro as Group Leader for Utilities.

    12. Achen-Gardner Construction has hired Cody Nunez as Senior Project Manager and Christy Hanzuk as Marketing Assistant.

    13. The City of Mesa Office of Economic Development has hired Vince Orleck as Project Manager and Sky Stone as Program Assistant.

    14. Colliers Engineering & Design, which recently acquired HILGARTWILSON, has hired Jodi James as Business Development Manager.

    15. Gensler has hired Sara McClung as Interior Design Manager.
