Giving Back
1. The Sundt Foundation, along with subcontractor E&K of Phoenix and other partners, collaborated to renovate The Foster Alliance’s (formerly Arizona Helping Hands) space in Phoenix and provide a two-phase expansion. Using plans created by Corgan, E&K of Phoenix and their partners secured the contracts and permits, provided all the parts and labor, and delivered a comfortable shopping experience for foster families. Phase II will create a volunteer center for the Alliance. While Sundt and E&K of Phoenix were working on the retail facility, Sundt Transportation Group spent two days fixing a long-standing sewer issue. Since the work was done in-kind, it freed up resources for the Alliance to provide 70 foster children with new beds.
2. The Sundt Foundation’s 20th Annual Mike Gaines Charity Golf Tournament recently raised $190K for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

3. ACEC Arizona announced it has moved into its new location on the 11th floor of the OH Building in Phoenix. The new location is north of Central Avenue and Osborn at 3550 N. Central Ave., Suite 1140.

4. Core Engineering Group, PLLC, announced it has acquired James Davey and Associates, Inc., also known as JDA. Both firms are based in Yuma. James Davey and the rest of the JDA staff joined the Core Team as of July 1.
5. Canada-headquartered commercial real estate lender Trez Capital announced it has relocated its Seattle office to a new 1,650SF location at 6263 N. Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale.
6. Wesley Leasy, who previously played for the Arizona Cardinals and once ran for a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives, has launched Leasy Construction LLC, a new construction services company in which he will act as both owner and CEO.
Promotions
7. Tekline Electrical Services announced two promotions. Jason Raymond has been promoted from Field Operations Manager to VP of Operations, and Sonny Ciotti has been promoted from Sr. Project Manager to Project Director.
8. Sundt Construction has promoted Scott Miller to Director of Operations and Support Services. Miller has been with Sundt for 17 years.
9. B&F Contracting, Inc. has promoted Irene Diaz to Purchasing Supervisor from Purchasing Agent. Victoria Leverington was promoted to Accounts Payable Supervisor from Accounts Payable Specialist.
New Hires
10. B&F Contracting, Inc. has hired three new members. Paul White and Brian Trevino were hired as Senior Financial Analysts, and Tommy Hartford was hired as Senior Wet Utility Division Estimator.
11. Sundt Construction has hired James Busch as Craft Pipeline Manager and Ashley Peters as the Building Group team’s new Business Development Representative in Phoenix.
12. W.E. O’Neil has hired Sean Simundson and Sharla Taylor as Senior Project Managers.
13. Kevin Snyder has been hired as the City of Chandler’s new Development Services Director. Snyder replaces Derek Horn, who retired in July 2023.
