    Giving Back

    1. Achen-Gardner Construction donated time, resources and materials to support Live Love, a non-profit organization dedicated to building strong communities. The group is building The Oasis, a two-acre community center near Gazelle Meadows Park in Chandler. To support the development, AGC installed new service lines from its new waterline as part of the Detroit Basin/Gazelle Meadows Park Storm System and Associated Improvements CMAR project to their property.

    2. WTS Metro Phoenix awarded 10 local scholarships and two international scholarships. The two international winners are:

    • Jolina Karam, WTSI Helene M. Overly Memorial Scholarship, and;
    • Payton Miller; WTSI Transportation YOU Scholarship.

    Company News

    3. Elite Roofing Supply announced the acquisition by Gulfeagle Supply, combining a total of 141 branches nationwide. Sarah Weiss, CEO of Elite, will continue leading the Elite team while reporting to Brad Resch, President of Gulfeagle, for the remainder of 2024.

    New Hires

    4. Berkadia announced the firm has added John Cunningham and Charlie Steele, both of whom will serve as Senior Managing Directors based in Phoenix.

    5. PIVIUM has added Eric Pederson to its sales team in the role of Client Engagement Leader.

    In Memoriam

    6. Commercial Properties Inc. regretfully announced the passing of Bruce Hanley. Hanley was a part of the Arizona commercial real estate community for more than 20 years.
