1. AZ Big Media recently announced its 20th Annual Real Estate Development Awards. Awards for specific projects will be featured in our March 27 issue. Awardees for companies were:
- Subcontractor of the Year: PK Associates,

Promotions
4. Billy Williams has been promoted to President of Brewer Companies. Williams has more than 24 years of experience in the plumbing industry and is part of both the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona and the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association.
5. Brian Welker, previously VP of Projects, has been promoted to VP of Operations at Tofel Dent Construction. Welker has spent 18 years with Tofel Dent and 30 years in the industry, previously serving in roles that included Project Manager and Senior Project Manager. Based in Tucson, he will oversee the firm’s construction strategy and operations.
New Hires
6. Scott Thomas has joined PCL Construction Enterprises Inc. as Senior Project Manager. Thomas has more than 20 years of construction experience and will support project teams from planning through execution, focusing on client relationships and project delivery.
