1. The Sundt Foundation awarded $28K to eight nonprofits in the Tucson area during its current giving round. Nonprofits that received grants include:
- Arizona Children’s Association,
- Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation,
- Beyond Foundation,
- Community Gardens of Tucson,
- Interfaith Community Services,
- Make Way for Books, and
- Primavera Foundation.

3. Bowman Consulting Group Ltd announced it has entered into a definitive purchase agreement for the acquisition of Perry Engineering LLC. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Tucson, Perry delivers civil engineering consulting and land surveying for residential, commercial, industrial, education and healthcare-related projects.
4. LSW Engineers has refreshed its logo, website and other collateral as the company approaches its 75th anniversary this year.
Promotions
5. Portable Practical Educational Preparation, Inc. has promoted Jacob Herrington to Chief Administrative Officer. Herrington is responsible for property management, new construction and growing the PPEP portfolio.
6. Stephanie Roldan has been promoted to VP of Quality and Training at Rosendin Electric.
7. LSW Engineers Arizona, Inc. has promoted four staff members. The employees and their new titles are:

8. Hunter Contracting Co. announced Dig Karki has been elevated to VP.
9. Sundt Construction recently announced six promotions in its Transportation Group. The staff members and their new titles are:
- Jose Gamez, Project Engineer;
- Daniel Kalfayan, Field Superintendent;
- Greg Gottron, Project Superintendent;
- Janene Thomas, Senior Project Manager;
- Chris Elison, Project Manager, and

10. C&S announced David S. Sperling has been promoted to National Aviation Business Development Leader for the firm’s aviation practice.
New Hires
11. Sundt Construction added Emilie Bell as Assistant General Counsel in its legal department. She will be responsible for providing legal support to the company’s Building Group.
12. Newmark has hired Scott Scharlach as Managing Director. Scharlach will partner with Executive Managing Director CJ Osbrink on the Phoenix Capital Markets team.
