    Giving Back

    1. Wespac Charities announced a donation of $100K to Habitat for Humanity of Northern Arizona. The announcement coincides with the appointment of Tyler Mark, VP at Wespac Construction, Inc., as the newly named President of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Arizona.

    Awards & Accolades

    2. Mesa Gateway Airport Economic Development & Real Estate Project Manager Alex Smith was recognized as one of Airport Business magazine’s 2025 40 under 40. The award celebrates innovative leaders who drive the future of aviation.

    3. B&F Contracting, Inc. announced Kristina Montano and Janessa Murphy graduated from the Arizona Builders Alliance Women in Leadership and Emerging Leaders Forum programs.

    4. Terracon announced that Paul Parra, Assistant Materials Project Manager in the Tucson office, has been awarded Terracon’s 2025 Living Incident- and Injury Free Award for both the Rocky Mountain Division and the company. The Living IIF Award recognizes a Terracon employee who consistently embodies the company’s safety culture through daily actions, leadership and influence.

    5. Trend Report has announced the recipients of its 2025 Best in Class Influencers Awards, recognizing commercial real estate professionals and firms whose performance, leadership and integrity set the standard across southern Arizona. The 2025 awards are based on top sales-volume performance from October 2024 through September 2025. The honorees are:

    • Industrial: Erik Chapman and Nicholas Travassos – Chapman Management Group;
    • Retail: Jeramy Price – VOLK Company;
    • Office: Rick Kleiner – Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR;
    • Multifamily (< 100 Units): Allan Mendelsberg and Joey Martinez – Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR;

    6. During the National League of Cities’ 2025 City Summit, Avondale City Councilmember Gloria Soloriowas elected to the Board of Directors. Solorio’s term on the Board will be for two years.

    Company News

    7. WillScot Holdings Corp. announced it is planning to cut a portion of its real estate footprint. This will primarily consist of shedding thousands of storage units to cut costs. The company plans to reduce its footprint by nearly 25% over the next four years.

    8. On the Road with ADOT, a weekly podcast highlighting the Arizona Department of Transportation’s projects, people and initiatives, recently celebrated the 100-episode milestone. ADOT shares these 10-15-minute conversations every Friday at azdot.gov/podcast and on most podcast platforms.

    Promotions

    9. IndiCap announced Todd Ostransky has been promoted to Partner. In a LinkedIn post, IndiCap CEO Mike Chernine said, “Todd has been a driving force behind some of our most meaningful accomplishments across the Southwest.”

    10. HDR announced Milos Vasiljevic was recently promoted to Transportation Program Management Director. Vasiljevic has nearly two decades in the industry.

    11. Terracon recently announced the promotion of Sean Aubry from Senior Associate to Principal. Aubry currently serves as the Materials Department Manager in the Tucson office. He recently celebrated his 30th anniversary with Terracon.

    New Hires

    12. CBRE announced Jami Savage-Gray has returned to the firm’s Phoenix office as Senior VP, specializing in portfolio tenant leasing. Savage-Gray is returning to the company from JLL.

    13. Sean Ahern recently joined JE Dunn Construction Co. as its new Client Solutions Director for the West Region. Ahern’s primary focus lies in the Justice and Civic markets. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

    14. FCI Constructors, Inc. announced the hiring of Jae Van Anne as Director of Business Development. A 2025 Phoenix Business Journal Outstanding Women in Business honoree, Van Anne brings more than 25 years of experience in business development and project management across the public and private sectors.

    15. Thomas Title & Escrow announced it has appointed Troy Peterson as its new National Commercial Business Development Officer. Peterson will expand national relationships, oversee growth initiatives and support clients throughout several markets.

    16. Thomas Title & Escrow recently announced the hiring of Scott Hendricks as a National Business Development Representative. Hendricks has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, leadership and commercial real estate.

    17. LevRose Commercial Real Estate recently welcomed Joe Jones as an Advisor. Before joining LevRose, Jones spent nine seasons as a professional baseball pitcher. In his new role, he will primarily focus on the Industrial sector.
