    3. The Yavapai County Recorders and Elections departments have begun facility renovations at 1015 Fair St. in Prescott. The renovation is expected to take 90 days and finish in January. The renovation will take in an existing breakroom and conference room to provide more total office space. Yavapai County Board of Supervisors’ consideration of a $406.9K contract for renovation work with B’s Contractors LLC will be done during the Sept. 6 meeting.

    Progress Reports

    4. Clayco Inc. has taken over as the general contractor to complete construction at the 17-story, 254-unit Aspire Fillmore residential tower project in Phoenix. Completion is expected in November.

    5. The Glendale City Council has approved a final plat including 24.15 acres intended for commercial development as part of the Desert River II mixed-use development. The project includes two multifamily developments, currently under construction. The final plat amends the creation of six lots and dedicates right-of-way and water/sewer easement to Glendale. Additional details were not shared in the meeting.

    Completions

According to the City’s 2021 groundbreaking announcement, amenities at the 38-acre site include a fishing lake with a pavilion, splash pad, lighted basketball courts and multi-use sports fields, and additional playgrounds, ramadas and restrooms.

    7. Sprouts Farmers Market recently had a grand opening for its newest store at 37666 N. Gantzel Road in Queen Creek. This will be the first anchor store in the Vineyard Towne Center development and is expected to bring in about 100 jobs to the community.
