    4. Architects Justin Gregonis and Trish Flower have rebranded themselves as Upward Architects. Gregonis and Flower, both accomplished, experienced architects in the Valley, will lead the Upward Architects office and continue to provide industry-leading architectural, planning and design services, specializing in office, retail, industrial, corporate interiors, and tenant improvement projects.

    5. Landsea Homes Corporation announced that Kaylee Smith has been named the new Division President for the Arizona Division of the company. Smith has served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company’s Southern California Division for the last three years. Recently honored as one of the rising stars in the homebuilding industry by earning a spot on ProBuilder’s 2021 Forty Under 40 list, Smith has been recognized for her work in architectural design, innovative use of technology and interior design.

    6. PK Associates Consulting Structural Engineers congratulates James Appleyard on his recent promotion to Senior Associate. Appleyard has been with PKA for nine years and has worked on a variety of projects including the ASU Tooker House, Block 23 at Cityscape, The Fillmore, and Banner Ocotillo Medical Center.

    7. BEX is excited to welcome Adella Warjri to the team as Market Researcher, where she will focus on maintaining up-to-date and accurate information on public projects in DATABEX, our online, searchable database. Adella comes to BEX with a background in Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.     8. P.B. Bell recently hired Clarissa Williams as a new portfolio director to oversee several of its communities throughout the Valley. In her new role, Williams is responsible for managing communities and its operations, as well as each community’s specific goals including financials, marketing and staff and resident wellbeing.

    9. Ed Mears has joined Consultant Engineering, Inc. to lead their business development and client management efforts. He has more than 30 years of experience in business development, project management and construction management of heavy civil, environmental and geoscience projects. Mears’s experience also includes management of multi-million-dollar reconstruction programs for the US Army infrastructure and base camp projects in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    10. Concord General Contracting announced that Jodi James has joined the firm as Client Relationship Manager. James brings more than 25 years of marketing and business development experience, most recently working with municipalities and tribal communities to grow economic development initiatives. As Client Relationship Manager, James will assist Concord in further developing their growing position as “Arizona’s Best General Contractor” in the Greater Phoenix and Tucson markets. She will play a key role in implementing strategic initiatives and providing solutions for Concord clients.
