    Giving Back

    1. Lennar Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Lennar Corporation, and the Building Talent Foundation have formed a strategic alliance to empower youth and underserved persons through residential construction job skills training and career coaching. Lennar Foundation’s investment in BTF of $2M over two years will accelerate the advancement of the organizations’ mutual goals and work to build a sustainable residential construction workforce by 2030.

    2. Terracon has contributed $10K to the SRP Healthy Forest Initiative to help reduce wildfire risks and restore the forested watershed that provide water to roughly half of the Valley of the Sun.

    3. The Greater Phoenix

    Tyrel Williams, with ORION Investment Real Estate, will serve as President.

    4. The Arizona Chapter of NAIOP elected officers and board members for 2022.

    The 2022 Executive Committee of NAIOP Arizona comprises:

Matthew Krause of Krause Architectural & Interiors will serve a 1-year term as Developing Leader Board Liaison.     5. BOMA Greater Phoenix elected its 2022 officers and board members.

    Melissa Scott, Sunbelt Holdings, was elected President. She is joined by Vice President Kathryn Rhinehart, Davis Southwest; Secretary/Treasurer Lynn Nixon, KMEA; and Allied Chair Mike Caratachea, Titan Restoration.

    8. Adolfson & Peterson Construction has welcomed Robert Cortazzo as Southwest division president.

    9. Cedric Robinson has been hired as VP of Preconstruction at Clayco.

    10. Sarah Perkins has joined Clear Title Agency of Arizona as Director of Strategic Accounts.

    11. RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture has welcomed Landscape Designer Austin Schmidt and Marketing Manager Sara Altieri to its Tempe office.

    12. Town of Queen Creek Public Works and Capital Improvement Project Director Troy White is retiring. White was recently recognized by the Queen Creek Town Council for his contributions.
