    Awards & Accolades

    1. Katrina Barrett was recognized as the No. 1 agent in Arizona by RealTrends. This is due to her $512M in sales volume. Barrett is the owner of Local Luxury | Christie’s International Real Estate.

    Company News

    2. Success Property Brokers was recently purchased by Porter Realty ERA Powered. The firm will now have 90 affiliated sales associates. The two brokerages will continue to operate independently of one another. Transaction details were not disclosed.

    3. EPS Group, Inc. announced it is now an employee-owned company. The company said the transition to employee ownership reflects the dedication of its employees while preserving its values, leadership, culture and commitment to clients.

    New Hires

    4. Keyser Commercial Real Estate announced the hiring of Michael Rosas as Senior Director of the Semiconductor and Advanced Manufacturing Practice. He has more than 10 years of experience and most recently served as VP of Business Development for the Arizona Commerce Authority.

    5. Steve Prokopek started service as the City of Prescott’s Economic Development Director on July 13. He previously worked as Economic Development Director for the Town of Carefree.

    Departures

    6. Camp Verde Town Manager Miranda Fisher recently announced her resignation. Fisher held the role for two years. She will officially leave the role on July 15, and Finance Director Michael Showers will assume the role of Acting Town Manager.

    In Memoriam

    7. Vernon D. Swaback, Founder of SWABACK, has passed. Swaback founded the firm in 1978 and grew it from a one-person practice into a nationally recognized architecture firm. He was a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the American Institute of Certified Planners, a former Chairman and CEO of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, author of 14 books and one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s last direct apprentices. The firm said Swaback’s vision, generosity and curiosity shaped both its work and its culture.
