    Boards & Commissions

    1. The National League of Cities has welcomed Glendale Councilmember Lauren Tolmachoff to its 2026 Large Cities Council and the Information Technology and Communications Committee. Her appointment will last for a year. New responsibilities will be stacked onto her current position in the NLCโ€™s Women in Municipal Government board.

    Company News

    2. Mark-Taylor Residential celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025. In honor of this milestone, the group gave back to the community through its iNSPIRE corporate social responsibility program. The program experienced record volunteer participation, as well as expanded community investment and meaningful nonprofit partnerships that strengthened neighborhoods across Arizona and Nevada. Initiatives throughout 2025 raised more than $40K and supported 16 nonprofit partners.

    Promotions

    3. Jeramy Mahfet and Nick Palmer were both promoted at PREMIER Design + Build Group. Mahfet was promoted to Senior VP. He helped establish the companyโ€™s Irvine office. Palmer was promoted to VP, Field Operations. In his new role, he will be in charge of field operations and guide project teams for the companyโ€™s Western region.

    New Hires

    4. Chris Erdeljac has been hired as Regional VP of the Southwest region for Atmosphere Commercial Interiors. Erdeljac brings 29 years of experience to the position. He stepped into the role on Feb. 2.

    5. Peter Hemingway has joined Halff as Director of Public Works and Local Infrastructure. He has more than 35 years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects across metro Phoenix. Hemingway previously served as a Regional Client Service Manager supporting municipal clients in Arizona and Texas. In his new role, he will lead the firmโ€™s public works growth strategy statewide.
