Giving Back
1. AireBeam presented a check for $5K to the Arizona City Fire District to support community events throughout the year, starting with their Summer Water and Safety Days. Summer Water and Safety Days are put on by the fire district to encourage young people in Arizona City to beat the heat by participating in water activities while also learning crucial safety techniques.
Awards & Accolades
2. The National Apartment Association has announced MEB Management Services as a winner of the 2023 NAA Top Employers Awards, which recognize organizations that foster cultures of collaboration, innovation and hard work. The awards pay tribute to management companies and suppliers from across the rental housing industry that have gone above and beyond to create safe, engaging and caring work environments over the past year.
Promotions
3. Three staff members were recently promoted to the Town of Gilbert’s Office of Economic Development. The employees and their new positions are:
- Sydney Bethel Price, Redevelopment Project Manager, Heritage District Liaison;
- Michael Martella, Economic Development Project Manager; and
- Glenn Schlottman, Tourism Program Manager.
New Hires
4. JLL‘s Value and Risk Advisory group announced it has expanded its Multi-housing sector practice with five key hires in the Dallas, Denver and Phoenix markets. The Phoenix team consists of Senior Director Jason Beakley and Analysts Micah Brittain and Scott O’Connor. Beakley has more than eight years of experience appraising and analyzing commercial real estate and was most recently a senior analyst valuing multifamily and manufactured housing properties in the Phoenix metro area.
5. Sundt Construction recently hired Richard McDonald as its Sustainability Director to implement and maintain sustainability initiatives and serve as a sustainable construction expert for Sundt employee-owners.
6. Selina Martinez has joined Childers Architect in the position of Design Professional I – Architecture.
7. The Town of Gilbert’s Office of Economic Development recently added two new staff members. Michelle Streeter has joined as Senior Marketing and Communications Project Manager, and Madyson Bradford has started in the role of Data Scientist.
