William Lyon, the eponymous owner ofย William Lyon Homesย โ that was recently acquired by Scottsdaleโsย Taylorย Morrison Home Corp. โย recently passed awayย at age 97.ย The Los Angeles times called Lyon โ a former Air Force pilot and general who served during World War II and the Korean War โ a pioneer in Southern Californiaโs postwar housing boom.ย
