    Company News

    3. Caliber announced the launch of its joint venture with GIA Hospitality, LLC called Caliber Hospitality, LLC. CHD is to act as the exclusive development platform for Caliber’s hospitality investments. The joint venture will specialize in acquiring distressed hotel assets and developing extended stay hotels.

    Promotions

    4. HDR announced the promotion of Michelle Acosta as its new U.S. Southwest Health Director. Acosta will continue to deliver designs and will also serve as a mentor for other architects.

    5. Shepley Bulfinch named Betsy Maddox as its first Senior Engagement and Strategy Manager. Based in Phoenix, Maddox brings a background in design and business development to the newly created national role, where she will lead relationship-focused initiatives across market sectors and support firmwide growth strategies.

    6. Dibble has promoted Steven Siroky to Team Leader in the Utilities Business Unit. Siroky brings more than 30 years of experience in construction management and operations and will continue to lead the firm’s construction team across complex utility projects, including the City of Phoenix’s AI-integrated sewer rehabilitation program.

    7. American Subcontractors Association Arizona announced the selection of Brandi Monroy as its new Executive Director. Monroy previously served as the Association’s Membership Specialist.

    New Hires

    8. JLL Capital Markets has added Alex Walton as Senior Director in Phoenix, where he will focus on multi-housing debt advisory transactions. Walton previously served as Senior VP at CBRE and brings experience from more than 200 deals totaling more than $650M.

    9. Lukrom has appointed Anthony Francisco as Director of Acquisitions and Development. He brings 20 years of real estate investment experience to the Phoenix-based firm. He is also a Phoenix Thunderbird and a member of EC70.

    10. Optimize Consulting Group has hired Kyle Gellenbeck as a Managing Director for its Project & Development Services team. He has more than a decade of experience and also serves as an Associate Partner with Columbia Project Management Partners.

    11. Barry Stokes has joined Thompson Thrift as Senior Director of Industrial Development in the Phoenix office. His experience includes 15 years in leasing, asset management and acquisitions across markets including Chicago, Las Vegas, Texas and Arizona.

    12. Richard Chazal has joined Suntec Concrete as Pre-Construction Director, Industrial. He has more than 20 years of experience and strategic design-build expertise, along with a strong leadership background across a diverse project portfolio.

    13. Commonwealth Electric announced it recently hired Bobby Bandara and Cody Allen. Bandara will serve as the company’s Business Development Manager. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Allen is the company’s new Project Manager. He has five years of experience with IBEW and has managed government projects.

    14. Stephanie Handley has been hired as Business Development Manager for PCL Construction’s Phoenix Buildings office. She has more than 20 years of business and marketing experience and will lead efforts to grow the firm’s commercial building presence in the Phoenix region.

    15. Menlo Group announced Andrew Wehn has joined the firm as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor. In his role, he will provide strategic guidance to tenants, buyers and sellers of commercial real estate in Scottsdale.

    16. Achen-Gardner Construction recently hired Makayla From as an Administrative Assistant.

    17. American Subcontractors Association Arizona has hired Katie Kulhavy as Membership Specialist. Kulhavy previously served as a Board member and Interim Events Coordinator.
