Giving Back

1. Brycon partnered with the Ronald McDonald House and hosted a dinner for the families staying at the main house near the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The team handled everything from grocery shopping and meal prep to cooking, serving and cleaning.
2. Refrigeration School Inc. is hosting a career fair and open house for welding, HVAC/R and electrical programs on April 9 and 12. The events will provide prospective students with live demonstrations, guided tours, financial aid and career placement information, career insights and networking opportunities.
Promotions
3. The Mesa City Council has unanimously appointed Scott Butler as the new City Manager. Butler, who has nearly 21 years of experience with the City of Mesa, will succeed Christopher J. Brady on June 1. Brady announced his retirement in January after nearly two decades.
4. JE Dunn Construction Co. recently promoted Heath White to VP – Project Executive. White has 20 years of experience and has led key projects throughout the Valley. In his new role, White is delivering a new free-standing emergency department and neighborhood hospital project.
5. McLean Johnson has been promoted to Preconstruction Manager at Concord General Contracting. He has worked for the company for eight years and started as an intern. His new role will include pioneering a Visual Design.
New Hires
6. Michael Eshleman joined Valley Metro as Deputy Chief of Service Planning. Eshleman has nearly 20 years of experience with public transportation and will lead planning and scheduling efforts for the agency.
7. Stephanie Aleman has been hired at K2 Electric as VP of Human Resources. Aleman has 20 years of HR leadership and relevant industry experience and will oversee all facets of human resources at the company.
8. Allegra Renard has been hired by De Rito Property Management as its new Senior Property Manager/Business Development. Renard has 14 years of experience in property and asset management.
9. DFDG Architects has brought back Staci Seyer as an Associate. She will take on many roles within the firm, including spec writing and project management.
In Memoriam
10. Dean Kashiwagi has passed at age 72. Kashiwagi most recently worked as Director of Kashiwagi Solution Model Inc. and is the author of the Information Measurement Theory and the Best Value Approach. Funeral arrangements will be shared in the near future.
