1. Lokahi Teams announced the first annual Fundraiser Carnival to be held at Dobson High School in Mesa. The fundraiser will help young individuals overcome obstacles to sports participation by providing the necessary financial support.

2. Rick Butler and Jeff Cutberth, partners at Butler Design Group for 28 years, have both been named recipients of NAIOP Arizona’s 2023 Award of Excellence. The ceremony will be held April 25th at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn.
3. TREND Report has announced the recipients of the 2023 Best-in-Class Broker® Awards for the second year, recognizing professionals who perform at the highest levels in commercial real estate sales in Pima County in each category. The winners are:

Promotions
4. The Maricopa Association of Governments has announced that Matthew Poppen will serve as the agency’s permanent Environmental Director, moving from the Interim Director role he has held since January. Poppen has been with MAG since 2010.
5. W.E. O’Neil Construction recently announced two promotions. Martina Geissler has been promoted to Director of Marketing for the Arizona region, and Brian Moore has been named Project Director at the Phoenix office.
6. Hunter Contracting Co. has promoted Andrew Perkins to Project Sponsor within the Water and Wastewater Group. His previous position was Senior Project Manager.
7. Gilbert Electric promoted Dwight Price to Branch Manager after serving as Senior Project Manager.
