Giving Back
1. Valley Partnership has relaunched its ADVOCATES Program. ADVOCATES is a year-long program for young professionals in the development community focused on mentorship, networking, and policy education. The class is made up of 30 professionals aged 35 and younger from different sectors of the development community. The class will interact with each other and leaders in their fields to better understand and appreciate different segments of the development process.

2. President, CEO and Chairman of Sundt Construction, Inc., G. Michael Hoover received the Golden Beaver Award at the 68th annual ceremony held by ‘The Beavers,’ a Heavy Engineering Construction Association. The award was given for his leadership; showcasing his goodwill, friendliness and consideration within the industry.
3. JobPlanner has been recognized as one of the Top New Construction Technologies for 2024 by Constructech. JobPlanner was chosen as one of the six standout newcomers.

4. Valley Partnership has named its 2024 Board of Directors, led by 2024 Board Chair Rob Bassett, COO of Pederson Group. The other new Board members are:

5. DPR Construction teamed up with Job Corps to provide on-the-job training at DPR Construction jobsites. The six-week experience will serve Job Corps’ Pre-Apprentice Carpentry program, giving participants practical, hands-on experience in the workforce.
6. Colorado’s Northern Engineering announced it has merged with EPS Group, Inc., Arizona’s largest locally owned civil engineering firm. The companies decided to combine their civil engineering and surveying companies after two years of collaborating and partnering on major projects.
7. Brinkmann Constructors celebrated the company’s 40th anniversary. The firm, which was started out of a trailer by Robert G. Brinkmann as R.G. Brinkmann Company, has now become a national company with five offices across the country, including St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, Richmond and Phoenix.

8. PCL Construction VP and District Manager Richard Hewitt has been named to lead the company’s civil infrastructure division.
9. Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty announced Kevin Gonzales’ promotion to Chief Operating Officer from VP of Operations.
10. Achen-Gardner announced that Estimating Manager Andy Mortensen has been promoted to Assistant VP.

11. CBRE has hired Rusty Kennedy as Executive VP, specializing in investor sales and development advisory services.
12. Alyssa Robinson has joined DAVIS and will serve as the firm’s Director of Interior Design.
13. Rose Law Group has hired Henry Hardy to work in the firm’s real estate and land use and zoning practice.
