1. Two Achen-Gardner Construction employee-owners represented the company at Northern Arizona University’s Part-Time Opportunities Career Fairon Jan. 22. The representatives engaged with students, discussed career paths and built connections.

2. Steve Chanen of Chanen Construction Company was the recipient of ENR’s Legacy Award. The Legacy Award is granted to individuals in the design/construction industry who have dedicated their lives to the craft and given back to the community along the way.
3. The Arizona Housing Fund has named NexMetro Communities its 2024 Partner of the Year. The award recognizes NexMetro’s success in raising awareness about the homelessness epidemic in Arizona and helping to fund additional housing for formerly homeless individuals and families throughout the state.

4. The NAI Global Healthcare Advisory Group announced the appointment of Lane Neville as its new national Council Chairman. Neville has more than 38 years of real estate experience focused on investment sales, portfolio leasing and site selection.
Promotions
5. BRPH announced the promotion of Marti Wattsto Executive VP of Architecture and Engineering. In her new role, Watts will oversee aviation, industrial and automotive projects. She will also grow client relationships across the world.
New Hires
6. Sunstate Equipment’s Board of Directors announced the appointment of Norty Turner as President & CEO beginning Feb. 10. Turner succeeds Chris Watts, who will retire as President & CEO effective March 28. Turner has three decades of experience in the equipment rental industry.
7. Jessica Hendricks joined Olsson as a Business Development Specialist. She comes to Olsson from the Phoenix Children’s Foundation and will be responsible for growing the firm’s presence across the Southwest. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
