Incremental operating costs for office buildings could increase by at leastโฏ$19.40/SF or 5.8 percent of average annual office rents at the beginning of 2020, according to a recentโฏreport from consulting firmย Deloitte. These incremental costs could varyโฏbased on the measures taken at each propertyโฏand the quality of materials used.
