The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has announced the location of its planned temple in Queen Creek.
The 82KSF temple is planned on 15.5 acres “south of Ranch Road and north of Queen Creek Road.” A separate announcement added more detail, saying, “The Queen Creek Arizona Temple will be located at the SEC of Ryan Road and Euell Drive, between Meridian Road to the west and Ironwood Road to the east, in Queen Creek, Arizona.”
The development will also include a meeting house and an ancillary building. Timeline details have not been released.
The Queen Creek Arizona Temple was first announced in October 2024 as one of 17 new planned temple locations worldwide.
There are currently six dedicated temples in Arizona, with another three planned around the state. The planned locations are in Queen Creek, Yuma and Flagstaff.
