Hawes Crossing Village 7 recently received a recommendation for approval from the Mesa Planning and Zoning Board.
Village 7 covers 150 acres and will feature a 100-acre single-family residential development and a 50-acre mixed-use development. The Planning and Zoning Board recommended a general plan amendment and rezoning. The land was initially slated for light industrial purposes.
The 150 acres are located at Hawes and Elliot roads. The mixed-use portion of the site will sit along Elliot Road and primarily consist of retail and restaurant uses.
Blandford Homes is the developer and applicant behind the proposed Village 7 development. Blandford purchased a 115-acre portion of the master plan in 2023 to develop 500 houses. The land has yet to be scheduled for an Arizona State Land Department auction. (Source: The Arizona Republic)
