    Awards & Accolades

    1. The Walsh Group is ranked as the No. 1 Water Treatment and Desalination Plant Contractor in the United States, according to the 2019 rankings from Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine. The company has been listed as the top-ranked water treatment and desalination plant contractor since 2014.

    2. Dr. Sheila D. Harris, Founding Director of the Arizona Housing Finance Authority and former Deputy Chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, has been named International Member of the Year of Lambda Alpha International.

    3. ReStore Agency is partnering with industry leader Colliers International in Arizona, expanding both companies’ offerings to clients in the hospitality industry.

    4. Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, Solutions AEC has grown its footprint in 37 states and opened an office in Tempe, with plans to expand its presence in Arizona.

    5. The Central Arizona chapter of CCIM announced it is launching the first session of a mentorship program for undergraduates attending the Colangelo College of Business at Grand Canyon University. The goal is to connect students with commercial real estate executives.

    6. P.B. Bell recently announced the promotion of three long-time employees to director positions within the team. Heather Garcia, PHR has been promoted to human resources director, focusing on executing the full scope of human resources activities. Alberto Castanos has recently taken up the position of portfolio director, overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties throughout the Phoenix metro area. Amy Campbell was recently promoted to director of learning and development, focusing on the development and management of P.B. Bell’s in-house training and career development program, P.B. Bell University.

    7. NAI Horizon has hired Jennifer Loehnert to bolster its tenant representative presence in its retail and industrial service lines.

    8. Bill Swirtz, a professional with 35 years of commercial real estate experience, has joined Colliers International in Arizona as vice president.

    9. With 14 years’ experience specializing in commercial office leasing and sales in the Central Phoenix and Scottsdale Markets, Nate Goldfarb has recently joined LevRose Commercial Real Estate as senior vice president.

    10. Russell Hulse joined McCarthy Building Companies‘ Southwest Region as business development manager for the Education Services Team.

    11. Trever Fleetham, the former planning and sustainability adviser for the Town of Payson, has taken over Bobby Davis’ economic development position — while keeping some of his planning and zoning responsibilities.

    12. Bobby Barnes, a long-time executive in the mortgage business has joined Scottsdale Private Lending as executive vice president and will focus on private money loans with an emphasis on creative deal structure.
