The multitenant building at Lot 7 will provide 43.5KSF of warehouse space and slightly more than 10KSF of office on approximately six acres east of Higley Road and north of McDowell. 2023 will be a busy year for freeway-related projects in the Phoenix area as more than $1B in Arizona Department of Transportation freeway improvement plans either get underway or continue work already in progress on I-10, I-17, Loop 101 and U.S. 60. Tonto Apache Tribal Chair Calvin Johnson recently announced plans for a new mixed-use development on tribal land across from the Payson Event Center on SR 87. The site is adjacent to the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino. In a presentation to the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, Johnson said plans for the expansion have been in development for years and the project is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs and more than $89M in economic impact. House Bill 2543, a measure that would allocate more than $300M for rural road maintenance projects, passed the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee earlier this month. The legislation is of particular interest to officials in Kingman, where voters last year rejected a sales tax measure that would have gone toward establishing a pavement preservation and road maintenance program. The bill establishes projects that submitting county and municipal officials have said are their highest needs. The Mesa Design Review Board recently discussed the landscaping and design plans for two City-owned airplane hangars planned at Falcon Field Airport. The hangars are designated as Hangar G and Hangar H and are part of the ongoing master planned Falcon Field Airport Expansion. Hangar G has five hangar bays and accessory office space in a slightly larger than 63KSF building. Hangar H will be more than 71KSF and will also have five bays and office space.
