As the next project in its partnership with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, CaliberCos, Inc. is planning a 122-room extended-stay Hyatt Studios hotel on 2.81 acres on Dobson Road in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
As AZBEX reported earlier this year, Caliber Hospitality Development has partnered with Hyatt to build 15 Hyatt Studios across various markets. The first local project is planned at 29th Avenue and Sonoran Desert Drive in north Phoenix and received stipulation modification approvals from Phoenix City Council in March. (AZBEX; Feb.3)
A local news outlet reported the new hotel project was reviewed by the SRPMIC Community Council earlier this month. A vote is scheduled in August.
In addition to the 122 guest rooms, plans for the Hyatt Studios Riverwalk/Scottsdale include a fitness center and meeting spaces. Limited food service will also be available.
Hyatt Studios are apartment-style suites in the mid-to-upper market space with enhanced amenities for extended-stay guests. Standard amenities include a fitness studio, a 24/7 market, free takeaway breakfast and in-room kitchens.
