Affordable Housing Rentย Delinquencies Upย
With the expiration of expanded unemployment benefits under theย CARES Act, affordable housing developer and operatorย Communityย HousingWorksย saw an increase in rent delinquencies. The organizationโs pre-crisis nonpayment rate wasย one percent, which increased toย three percentย in August andย five percentย in September.
