Dave Chamberlin has purchased a three-story 20KSF building in Midtown Phoenix for $2.5M and will renovate the classic Al Beadle-designed location before moving his companies there.
Additions made in the 1980s and 1990s significantly altered the look of the midcentury structure at 500 E. Thomas Road, which was originally designed to appear as if it were floating. Chamberlin has hired Kaiserworks to restore the design intent.
The renovation will also add solar power, low-emissivity glass and low-use water fixtures.
Property management firm Chamberlin + Associates will occupy the third floor as its headquarters. Chamberlin Restoration will be on the first floor, and the second will be leased to a separate tenant.
Chamberlin expects to occupy the building by mid-2022. (Source)
