Hawes Crossing MX Village 1, also known as Fore Green Development at Hawes Crossing, is a mixed-use project located to the west of Hawes Road on the north side of Elliot Road in East Mesa. It encompasses 7.19 acres dedicated to multifamily residential units, providing a range of housing options from studio apartments to one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. The project was recently discussed at a Mesa Design Review Board meeting.
The project consists of 233 apartment units, which will be housed in four-story buildings situated in the northern part of the lot. Additionally, there are plans for two-story carriage homes that will line 82nd Street on the eastern side of the development.
In the southern section of the development, there are plans for four commercial buildings. These structures will include two multi-tenant buildings, likely to house a variety of businesses, and two freestanding drive-thru restaurants.
Access will primarily be provided through Elliot Road, with a shared access route extending north to reach the multiple-residence area. Additionally, there will be an exit-only gate located in the northeast corner of the development.
Green space and recreational amenities are also a part of the project’s design. A 25-foot-wide open space buffer will feature a meandering trail that extends north from Elliot Road. This trail will ultimately connect with Lennar’s open-space trail.
The project applicant is Rose Law Group on behalf of Fore Green Development LLC. The architect is EDI International and Fore Property Company acts as their own General Contractor. (Source)
