What are now fenced-off largely vacant lots on the northwest corner of Main Street and Country Club Drive are envisioned as a five-story, nearly 200-unit apartment complex with bottom-floor retail space. That means more money could start flowing to Arizona schools. After years of contentious legal battles and bankruptcy filings, California-based Crown Realty & Development emerged as the winning bidder on the 96.5-acre parcel in Desert Ridge’s core called City North on Monday. Groundbreakings 1. The Banner Ironwood Medical Center campus is growing in Queen Creek. Ground was broken Wednesday, Jan. 23, for the construction of a 60KSF outpatient medical office building on the far north end of the Banner Ironwood campus. Powell Boulevard at the Jan. 29 meeting. The development, by the Austin, Texas based Campus Advantage, is planned for a 15.14-acre undeveloped parcel of land that is currently owned by Pine Canyon.
