Phoenix City Council has approved the site plan and elevations, and agreed to some stipulation modifications, for The Opus Group’s proposed Deer Valley 30 industrial development on West Alameda Road in north Phoenix.
The proposed buildings total approximately 357KSF, ranging from 66KSF to 184.4KSF.
The requests submitted by project representative firm Burch & Cracchiolo said, “Opus is under contract to purchase the Site and will develop the Site with Class A industrial warehouse buildings. To achieve this, we request… the approval of Opus’ Site Plan and Elevations in accordance with the Zoning Stipulations as well as modification of other stipulations. We further request that the three sub-sites/cases be heard and evaluated together as Opus intends to develop them as a single Site.”
The modifications generally referred to the hearing and review process and changes to stipulated setbacks and rights of way in the development.
The requests had previously been heard and recommended for approval at a Planning Hearing Officer meeting in December.
Opus will serve as the developer, design firm and general contractor for the project. A construction timeline has not been announced.
