    BEX Celebrates 12 Years!

    By Rebekah Morris for AZBEX

Twelve hundred issues. Roughly 27,000 individual open active procurements. Approximately 19,200 news articles. Too many people and project news pieces to count. That is our current standing after 12 years in business and 1,200 issues of the AZBEX Digital Magazine.

Without getting too reflective or pensive (not my style for anyone who knows me), I do want to take just a moment to thank everyone who continues to read the twice-weekly behemoth of informative text (Who reads every word? I mean really; it can be a bit much!). I used to make bad jokes about how we couldn’t care less about sensationalism or what’s trendy, but we are obsessed with very boring, very dry, but very useful information. We think it’s fun to figure out what’s going on in the market. We love finding opportunities in the nooks and crannies of the interwebs and hidden spots in the market.

Thank you to all the BEXperts who make this look easy. The reality is most of us are paddling furiously below the surface while trying to maintain a calm appearance above the waterline. It is no small feat to produce 70+ pages twice a week, every week.

I love doing this and I am incredibly thankful that I get to keep doing it. While the market continues to challenge each and every one of us in new ways every week, we will do our best to keep all our 4,000+ readers informed as best we can. We continue to look forward and see new opportunities with every issue.
