Meanwhile, the number of cranes at work in the region has remained largely unchanged. The Maricopa Association of Governments and the City of Surprise will undertake a transportation study to improve conditions around Grand Avenue. Surprise City Council will vote this week on an intergovernmental agreement with MAG to contribute $45K toward the estimated $695K study cost.
